Let’s get one thing straight, you didn’t read that incorrectly “my lovely wife” is actually the absolute truth! I have been living with my Japanese wife for about a year now- and our love has never been stronger! Currently, we live in Bangkok, however this is not the city I met her. I began to date a Japanese girl in the romantic and magical town of Christchurch. Christchurch is located in South Island, New-Zealand.
It all began on Friday May 18th 2007, when I was studying English at the GEOZ language school. I had known who she was from a friend on mine, who was in her class, and studied along side her. With my previous history, I would have never asked a stranger for a date, so this was officially the first- and last time I was ever brave enough to talk to someone like her. I had always wanted to date a Japanese girl, and when she approached me at school, I knew I had to ask her.
I will never forget that day; she was wearing a dark blue t-shirt, jeans and white sneakers. I will never forget her beautiful smile- yes, she actually smiled at me! (She smiled at everyone as she was a very sweet lady). When I saw her again that afternoon in front of the school, I walked over to her and began talking to her. I have no idea what I was thinking, but I never hesitated in talking to her.
The moment was absolutely perfect, and the place was stunningly significant in my eyes. I politely introduced myself, and explained that I was a friend of her classmate. At the time, my English was better than hers, so I started off with simple and easy conversation, so she didn’t feel awkward. She then introduced herself, and gave me that unforgettable smile. She said she was waiting for a friend, and I decided to help her kill the time, and talk to her. We had a very friendly conversation, and I never thought it would ever turn into anything more than that, especially not having to date a Japanese girl. Before we went our separate ways, we exchanged phone numbers, and I couldn’t help but smile- I had just accomplished the bravest thing of my life.
PS: Not to worry guys, this isn’t my only post! Next time I’ll let you know what type of guy Japanese girl’s thing are Sukoi (cool)!
